Photo problems are among the most common reasons DV lottery entries are disqualified. The usual failures: not exactly 600 x 600 pixels, a photo older than 6 months or reused from a previous entry, glasses, shadows or a dark background, digital editing, and forgetting that the spouse and every unmarried child under 21 each need their own compliant photo.

Disqualification is usually silent
