Refund Policy
Template for review by qualified counsel before launch. It reflects our intended policy; it is not legal advice.
What we promise, and what we don't
We check your photo against the published government specification and only show a pass when it meets every requirement we can measure. Government specifications are official guidelines, and acceptance is ultimately decided by an individual clerk or portal. So a pass here is a strong signal, not a legal guarantee of acceptance.
If a photo we passed is rejected
If a photo that passed our checks is rejected by the relevant government body for a reason we should have caught (framing, background, or resolution), we will refund your purchase. Contact us within 30 days with the rejection notice and the photo, and we will make it right.
What isn't covered
We can't refund rejections for reasons outside the photo itself — for example an incomplete application, an expired document, or a change you made to the file after downloading it. Editing the downloaded photo (filters, retouching, background replacement) voids the check and is itself a rejection reason for US, UK and Canadian photos.
How to request a refund
Email support@compliantpassportphoto.com with your order details and, for a rejection claim, the official rejection notice. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe.
