Compliant Passport Photo

We now check 21 documents, and the spec data is open

The checker now covers 21 documents, from US and UK passports to China visas, Schengen visas and India's OCI card. The specification data behind every page is published at /specs.json under CC BY 4.0, with each figure sourced to the official requirement.

Every document page is generated from the same structured spec: photo size, head height band, eye position band, background rule, and digital file constraints, each with a source link to the official government page and a last-verified date.

Publishing the data openly cuts both ways on purpose. Anyone can check our numbers against the official sources, and anyone building travel tools can reuse the dataset with attribution.

Notable oddities in the data: France forbids the plain white background that the US requires, Spain uses a 32 x 26 mm frame unlike anywhere else, and China's visa portal enforces both a minimum and a maximum file size.
