Global Entry photo requirements: same spec as a US passport photo

A Global Entry application photo must meet the same specification as a US passport photo: 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm), taken within the last 6 months, plain white or off-white background, neutral expression, no glasses, and head size between 1 and 1 3/8 inches (25 to 35 mm) from chin to crown. You upload this photo during the online Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) application, and a new photo is also captured in person at your Global Entry interview.

Same spec as your passport photo

Two photos, not one

The online upload is only the first photo. At your in-person Global Entry interview, an officer takes a second photo (and fingerprints) as part of enrollment.
